Eddie was the son of Eddie Wheeler Sr and Yvonne Kaigler Wheeler. He was educated in the Houston County School System and graduated from Perry High School in Perry, Georgia. He was employed with several car dealerships in the middle Georgia area for a number of years. He also served as a dedicated and loyal friend and driver for Dr Nick Tehrani until his passing. Eddie was known for his fun loving disposition and never met a stranger that stayed one for long. He was know for exhibiting his sense of humor among his co workers and be helpful and unselfish. He loved God and accepted a Church home after his baptism.
He was married to Rose McClendon Wheeler on July 7,1989. They were blessed with 2 children. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters: Helen Pertillo and Alfreda McFadden and 2 brothers-in-law: Timothy King and Alvin Johnson.
