Smith – Mrs. Rosa H. Smith, wife of Robert N. Smith, of East Bald Eagle street, died suddenly Sunday morning about 8 o’clock. Mrs. Smith had not been in good health for about seven years. She was about the house as usual Saturday, but complained of feeling very weak. Sunday morning when she did not come down to prepare the morning meal her husband went to her room and found her dead. She was born in Switzerland 70 years ago and was brought to this city when an infant. Her kind disposition and cheerful manner endeared her to a host of friends. She was a faithful member of the East Main Street M. E. church. Deceased is survived by her husband, three sisters, Mrs. Mary Winters, this city, the Misses Margaret and Lou Probst, of Marquette, Mich.
Funeral services were conducted at her late home Wednesday afternoon by Rev. S. B. Bidlack. Interment was made in Dunnstown cemetery.
