Carol went to be with her Savior on Saturday, February 27, 2016. She was born to Ervin Wayland and Dorothy Evelyn Miller on May 25, 1939 in Bascom, Texas. She was known and loved by many as simply “Aunt Carol”. Her job career spanned from O’Bannon’s grocery store to retiring from the Brazoria County District Clerk’s office.

Her love of baking and candy making was always a special treat and was enjoyed by family and friends alike. She was an active member of Liverpool Friends Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy Wilson and Nell Fox; and her infant granddaughter Hannah Cheyenne Beaver.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Royce “Blackey” Fox; daughter, Donna Leach and husband Paul; son, Dan Beaver and wife Juliet; nieces, Terry Moon, Shelley Fox Rouse, Kelley Taylor; nephews, Jerry and Johnny Svetlik; granddaughters, Bronwyn and Victoria Beaver as well as a host of family and friends she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home, 2025 E. Mulberry Street, Angleton, TX with Pastor W.L. “Bubba” Rouse, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Angleton Cemetery in Angleton, TX.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dixon Funeral Home in Angleton, TX.

Active pallbearers will be Tyler Moon, Ronnie Moon, Nathan Carr, Trey Dawson, Cash Dawson and Dylan Moon.

Honorary pallbearers will be Aaron Ferguson and Logan Ferguson.
