Florence was born and raised in Wilmington, DE, daughter of the late John and Mary (Gawinski) Skipski. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Elaine and Hugh Herron of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, Alfred and Sarah Mack of Newark, DE, Dan Barczewski of Boston, MA, and Susan and John Berting of Wilmington, DE. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16th, at 10:30 am at MEALEY FUNERAL HOME, Limestone & Milltown Rds., Wilmington, where visitation will begin after 9:30 am. Interment will follow in Cathedral Cemetery, Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Friends of Meadowview, 235 Dolphin Avenue, Northfield, NJ 08225.
