Mrs. Hattie Lorena (Acree) Easley, 90, the mother of Covington County Commissioner Forest Easley, died in an Andalusia hospital Saturday night after an extended illness.
Mrs. Easley, a pioneer Covington citizen had been in declining health recently.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Foreman Funeral Home with the Rev. George Gay and Rev. G.C. Curtis officiating.
Music was by Howard Ham, John Hill, Rudolph Carroll, Fred Kelley, accompanied by Mrs. Robert Barrow. Burial was in Andalusia Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors in addition to Mr. Easley are a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Peterson, Andalusia, a brother, D.G. Easley; nine grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
