Our darling angel, Sammie Joyce Volmert, born Sept. 18, 2014, passed away Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, surrounded by her family. Sammie touched many in some small way throughout her short, yet memorable life. Service: 3 p.m. Friday, March 4 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Aledo. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park, Fort Worth. Sammie, if you can imagine, was the perfect balance of hot peppers and angel wings. Her gentle smile could melt the hearts of those around her. Her fiery spirit was surpassed only by her angelic beauty. We will hold dear the memory of our sweet Sammie's spirit. Survivors: Loving parents, Keri and Larry Volmert; sister, Savannah Volmert; brother, Jackson Volmert; maternal grandparents, Debbie and Mike Hall; and aunts, uncles and cousins.
