The funeral of Edmund Franklin Beaumont, the engineer, who was killed in the explosion of the Southern Pacific locomotive boiler explosion near Hondo early yesterday morning, will be held this afternoon from the family residence, 830 North Pine street. Interment will be made in the Alamo Lodge Masonic cemetery. The Rev. J. T. Hutcheson of St. John's Episcopal church will officiate. The services will be attended by a commitee from the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers of which order Mr. Beaumont was a member, a delagation from the Alamo Masonic lodge and numerous friends. A large number of floral offerings were sent to the home. Besides the widow and 18 year old daughter, Mr. Beaumont is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Eustace Bellinger and Miss P. G. Beaumont of this city and a brother, William Beaumont of Sutherland Springs. Another brothr, E. L. Beaumont, resides in Little Rock but on account of illness was unable to attend the funeral.
