The funeral services for the late Dr. Elkhart L. Beaumont, who died yesterday afternoon at his home, 509 Nolan street, were conducted at 3 o'clock today from the family home and his body was laid to final rest in the Alamo Masonic cemetery. The services were largely attended and were very impressive, being conducted according to the burial ritual of the Masonic order, of which the deceased had long been a member. Dr. Beaumont was 83 years old. He is survived by two daughters and three sons, Miss P. G. Beaumont, Mrs. A. V. Bellinger, E. F. Beaumont of San Antonio, William Beaumont of Van Vleck and E. L. Beaumont, Jr., of Little Rock, Ark.; also a brother, William Beaumont of Mexico, who is now in the city.

Dr. Elkhart L. Beaumont, who had lived in San Antonio thirty-six years, died at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at his residence, 509 Nolan street. He was 83 years of age and born in Mississippi.
Two daughters, Miss P. G. Beaumont and Mrs. A. V. Bellinger, and three sons, E. F. Beaumont, William Beaumont and E. L. Beaumont, survive him.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock under the auspices of the Alamo Masonic Lodge, of which Dr. Beaumont was a member.-an Antonio gazette.
Dr. Beaumont was in the early days of Gonzales a resident of this city, having located here about 1849, when he established a drug store and entered upon the practice of his profession. He married a Miss Fellows of New Orleans, who died during the Civil War. Several years later he married Miss Carrie Bellinger a daughter of Judge Bellinger, then a well known resident of this city. The death of his second wife occurred several years ago. Dr. Beaumont was a good man and is remembered by a number of the older residents of this section.
