She actually spelled her name Silvia, instead of using a "Y". This is according to my Grandmother, Sylvia Leach (Grundvig) whom was raised by Silvia after her parents were killed tragically and was her namesake.

The first page from my Grandmother Sylvia Leach (Grundvig)'s life story. The second paragraph shows that her Grandmother spelled her name "Silvia" instead of "Syvlia".
