Emma Louise (Deaton) Foster, 83-year-old former longtime resident of Spencer, OK, passed away Feb. 25, 2016, in OKC. Born April 29, 1932, in Russet, OK, she was the daughter of Sam Clifton and Grace (Weaver) Clifton. Louise had worked at many jobs, including assembly at Western Electric and as a rural mail carrier. She was an active member of Dickson Baptist Church. Louise was an avid gardener, loved reading, dancing, camping, cooking new recipes, Bingo, and especially family time. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Larence Deaton and Frank Foster; two infant daughters, Mary Jane and Terry Diane; two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include two sons, Alan (Mary) Deaton, of OKC; and David (Judi) Deaton, of Moore, OK; one daughter, Vicki (Jerry) Hammonds, of Spencer, OK; eight grandchildren, Kristi, Ryan, Kelly, Chad, Taylor, Tiffany, Zachry, and Cody; 10 great-grandchildren, Alexiss, Braydon, Lyric, Julian, Jax, Tucker, Jordan, Nicholas, Jaden, and Dominicc; one great-great- grandchild, Ayden; one brother, Sam Clifton, of Fort Smith, AR; one sister, Sue Bass, of Edmond, OK; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 N.E. 23rd St., OKC, with burial to follow in Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK.
