She was born in Daytona, Florida where she grew up. Donna attended nursing school at Massachusetts General Hospital and San Raphael’s in Boston, becoming head nurse in Florida, New Mexico, and in San Benito at Dolly Vinsant Hospital. She loved swimming, playing Bridge, traveling and had great love and compassion for all animals, especially her pets. She was also an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in San Benito, Texas.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband, John Raymond Kaiser.
Left to cherish her memories are: her daughter. Judith Edens and son-in-law, William Edens; granddaughters, Sarah Shy and Rebecca Garrabrant and four great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Thomae Garza Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church, 566 Reagan San Benito, Texas. Burial will be held 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
