Mrs. Abbie Rebman, 87, of 416 E. Yund died Tuesday in a local hospital. Services will be Friday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Livingston-Sondermann Funeral Home with the Rev. Hauser Winter officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Rebman was born Dec. 21, 1889, at Fairbury to Michael and Katherine Blair Killean. She was a graduate of Fairbury High School and she attended Peru State and Kearney State Colleges. She taught school at Naponee and Republican City until 1926. She married Carl Rebman in Fairbury on June 30, 1926. The couple lived on a farm near Republican City until 1947, when they moved to this area. They farmed east of Grand Island until their retirement in 1974, when they moved into the city. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Rebman is survived by her husband. She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
