SIBLEY, LA – Margie Campbell, 91, passed away of February 23, 2016, at her home in Sibley, LA. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2016 with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel with Brother Randy Hales and Brother Matt Cate officiating. Interment will follow at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Margie was born June 5, 1924 in Greensburg, LA. Margie graduated from Byrd High School, Shreveport, LA, in 1942. Margie was a long time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Minden, LA.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, Jesse D. Campbell, her mother, Evelyn Methvien and two sisters.
Margie is survived by her son, Raymond Lee Campbell and wife Mary Catherine of Mesa, AZ; daughter, Ritajane Campbell of Minden, LA; son, Ricky Allen Campbell and wife Debbie of Houston, TX; brother, Robert Methvien of Livingston, LA. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and longtime friends, Dr. Paul Cole and family, and Lorris and Elaine Carter.

Pallbearers will be Raymond Campbell, Ricky Campbell, Karl Faber, David Campbell, Vince Washington, and Micky Brown. Honorary pallbearers will be Al Carver, Lorris Carter, Hubert Ferguson, Larry Pearson, and Ray Bell.
