Retired from U.S. Steel was a supervisor in Coke Plant with 43 years of service.
He was a member of The Hobart First Church of the Nazarene. He is a trustee of The Church Board. Survivors: Wife, Mary; 1 son, Dale (Bonnie) of Nobel, Illinois; 3 daughters, Mrs. Lester (Marion) Cornett of Valparaiso, Indiana, Mrs. Robert (Rosalie) Wilkins of East Gary, Mrs. James (Norma) Labadie of East Gary; 2 brothers, Hubert and Myron McKnight of Flora, Illinois; 3 sisters, Mrs. Cora McClain of Flora, Illinois, Mrs. Mary Bryant of Louisville, Illinois, Mrs. Lunda McCorkle of Louisville, Illinois; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services Thursday, December 11, 1975 at 10:30 a.m. at The Hobart First Church of The Nazarene. Rev. Gerald Walworth officiating. Burial in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Hobart, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be given to the Church. Visitors may call Wednesday, 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. at The Jones & Frum Hobart Memorial Chapel, 7th and Lincoln, Hobart.
Morris passed away from having a heart attack a few days earlier.
