LANCASTER, SC………Mr. Nathan Rayvon Hall, age 78, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Palmetto Richland Hospital. He was born October 13, 1937 in Lancaster, a son of the late Ocie Melvin Hall, Sr. and Aline Deese Hall and was the husband of the late Bette Lewis Wright Hall. Mr. Hall retired from Duke Energy. He served as Past President of Duke Power Retirees and enjoyed helping others in need. This was his ministry that he shared with many churches helping with their barbeque fundraisers. He loved deep sea fishing and had his boat pilot's license. Mr. Hall served our country in the United States Air Force and was a member at Camp Creek Baptist Church.
Mr. Hall is survived by a son, Nathan Eugene Hall; a daughter, Cheri Plyler and her husband, Ronnie; a sister, Elfreida Hall Plyler; and two granddaughters, Jana Layne Hough and Drewid Dyneane Plyler all of Lancaster.
Mr. Hall was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a daughter, Mary Cynthia Criminger; a brother, Ocie Hall, Jr.; and a sister, Mary Hall Duncan.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mr. Hall will be Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at Camp Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Randy Mellichamp and Rev. Scott Robinson. Burial will follow at New Cut Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
