Mrs. HARRIETT BRAZILE (ROGERS) WHEAT was the wife of Dan Rodgers, and to their union, three sons were born, including Gus Rodgers, Yancy Rodgers and James Rodgers.

She wed again to Peter Wheat whom she married on February 12, 1880 in Harrison County, Texas. To their union, their known children include Octavia Wheat, Dora Wheat, Essie Wheat and Tom "Tommie" Wheat.

Upon her passing, she was laid to rest on the grounds of Rock Springs Cemetery in Scottsville, Texas.

Notes:
- Harriett was last reported in the 1920 census, and at the 1930 census, Peter Wheat was reported as widowed.
- The 1910 census reported that their marriage was the second marriage for each of them. The 1910 census also reported that she was the mother of eleven children, and that three of them were not living at this time.
