MARSHALL--May 5, 1972, Mrs. Anne Rowley Marshall, aged 100 years, of 214 7 Avenue N.E. Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia she came to the High River District with her husband in 1907. In 1908 they homesteaded in the Vulcan district and farmed there until retiring to Calgary in 1943. Mrs. Marshall was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church, the Golden Age Club and the C.N.I.B.
She is survived by one son, William, Vulcan, and one daughter, Mrs. Gordon (Grace) Nielsen, Calgary; six grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Catharine Dick, Calgary and Mrs. Mary Revely, Seal Beach, California. Mrs. Marshall was predeceased by her husband, Melbourne in 1956 and by her son, Joseph, in 1962.
