Christopher "Frank" Franklin Hastings was the 8th son and the 11th child of William Wallace Hastings and Margaret Ann Philpott Hastings. He married Leora Tidenburg on May 20, 1915. They had 2 daughters.

Bovina (Special)--Services for Frank Hastings, 96, a 76-year resident of Bovina, will be at 2:30 pm Monday in the First United Methodist Church here with the Rev. James Putnam, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in Bovina Cemetery under the direction of Parsons-Ellis Funeral Home of Friona.
Hastings, a native of Wise County, died Saturday in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.
He was a retired farmer and rancher and a 61 year member of First United Methodist Church here. He also was a member of the Farwell Masonic Lodge No. 977, and received his 50 year pin in Oct 1961, and a member of the Khiva Shrine Temple at Amarillo. He married Leora Tidenburg May 20, 1915 in Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Anna Hastings of Plainview and Mrs. Bob Wilson of Bovina; four grandchildren and three great-grandsons.
Serving as pallbearers will be Durward Bell, Bedford Caldwell, J. T. Hammonds, John Dixon, J. T. Sherrill, Jr. and Gene Ezell.
