Elisha Addison Durham, 71, of 253 Maple Ave., Springfield, a retired employee of Baldwin Locomotive Works, Eddystone, died Friday at Taylor Hospital, Ridley Park.

Born in Moylan, Mr. Durham had lived in Delaware County all of his life. He retired from Baldwin's about six years ago when the company went out of business, after having worked there for a number of years.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; four sons, William, of Media; Elisha Jr., of San Berdina [prob. San Bernardino], Calif.; James and John, both of Springfield; seven daughters, Mrs. Rose Moseley, of Upper Chichester; Mrs. Martha Martin, of Painesville, Ohio; Mrs. Sally Ferguson, Barbara Finley, Mrs. Elizabeth Jennifer, Joan Durham, all of Springfield and Mrs. Elsie Thompson, of Media; a brother, Leonard Durham, Campbell, Calif., 34 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Calling hours Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the William H. Harris Funeral Home, 2512 W. 2nd St., Chester. Services and burial will be private. Burial will take place in Rolling Green Memorial Park, West Chester. The family will leave from 253 Maple Ave., Springfield.
