A native of Cincinnati, Mrs. Esler lived here until 20 years ago. She was the author of many essays and poems, some of which were published. Her husband George G. Esler, died in the 1880's.
Besides the daughter, Mrs. Esler is survived by a brother, Thomas Kilby Smith, Philadelphia attorney; a sister, Miss Helen Grace Smith, of Torresdale; a grandson, B. Franklin Eshleman; and two granddaughters, Mrs. Franklin A. Reece and Miss Anabel Kilby Eshleman. Funeral services will be held in All Saints' Episcopal Church, Torresdale. --
