During World War II, Charles was in the United States Army as First Lieutenant and served in Rhineland and Central Europe with the 5th Armored Division.
Charles was a Civil/Structural Engineer who worked on various commercial and industrial projects in the greater Houston area and on the ship channel. He retired from SIP/Parsons in 1988.
Charles was survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Glada; daughters: Pamela and husband Ronnie Liska, Mary and husband Chuck Buswell, Carol and husband Andy Young; 1 grandson and 3 granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter and 3 great grandsons.
Funeral services was on Monday, December 28, 2015 in the chapel of Crowder Funeral Home, 2422 Broadway in Pearland, Texas 77581. A graveside service followed at the Klein Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia, Texas with John Mark Benson officiating.
