Anthony "Tony" Minerich, passed away peacefully at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington on February 7th, 2016 after a brief illness.

Anthony was born and raised in Roslyn, Washington and was the youngest of three children. He served three years in the U.S. Navy during World War 2 and then came back to Roslyn to work in the coal mines. He then moved to Seattle and worked for Kaiser Gypsum (Later James Hardie Gypsum) as a warehouseman and a maintenance mechanic, where he worked for over 30 years.

He spent his retirement years in Renton, where he enjoyed raising flowers and tomatoes in his garden, doing crossword puzzles, and traveling.

Anthony is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, brother George, and his sister Mary.

His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 17th, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Cle Elum, Washington. Graveside service, and reception at the church to follow.
