Rita A. McCarty Sanders, 73, of Chillicothe, died at 3:54pm February 17, 2016, at Adena Regional Medical Center.
She was born September 18, 1942, in Ross County to the late Homer Nelson and Agnes Marie Fink McCarty. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son Sabin L. Sanders; sisters: Elizabeth Brundige and Kathleen McNaughton; and brothers: Patrick and William McCarty.
She is survived by her three children; 3 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; two brothers; four sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
Rita was a life member of American Legion, Post 757 and the Moose Lodge. She had worked at the former Rubbermaid Plant.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm Saturday at Haller Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Saturday from 10am until 12pm at Haller’s.
