Anne Bailey DuBois Oliver, 62, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013 at her residence after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Fort Bellvair [sic, Belvoir], Virginia, daughter of Lewis Graham Bailey, Jr. and Mary Mixon Bailey. She lived in Savannah most her life and was a graduate of Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She taught almost twenty years at Robert W. Gadsden Elementary School retiring in 2011. She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Graham Bailey, Jr., brothers, Lewis Graham Bailey, III and Michael William Bailey. Surviving are her husband, David W. Oliver; daughter, Jennifer A. DuBois; son, Herbert Ashley DuBois, Jr.; mother, Mary Mixon Bailey all of Savannah; grandchildren, Lauren A. DuBois, Olivia M. Delatorre and Carson Lewis DuBois; two nephews, Alex and Davis Bailey. Memorial Visitation: 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. Memorial Service: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Wilmington Island Presbyterian Church, conducted by Reverend Andy Meeker. Burial will follow in the Joanne Roberts Memorial Garden.
