On Sept. 18, 2014, JLee Beckman crossed the great divide into the eternal arms of Jesus. Gracefully, in the home she shared with her husband of 71 years, she took her final earthly breath and began her never-ending adventure with the Savior she has loved since she was a child.
At the age of 19, JLee married the Reverend Robert J. Beckman, Sr. Together they served faithfully in the ministry of the Lord through the Assemblies of God. Their adoration for each other was vividly evident to all.
Together, JLee and Bob welcomed two children, Jenean Woods and the late Robert J. Beckman, Jr. Their grandchildren include, Gary Link (Kathy), Nathan Link (Shannon), Jason Beckman (Rachelle), Tiffany Dvorak (Erik), Lindsay Harjo (Isaac) and Lesley O'Donel; and they were blessed with 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. JLee was a women who finished her race strong. From her example, we can learn much. She loved life and beauty to its fullest and beyond and to the very end was heard remarking on the goodness of the Lord.
A memorial celebrating JLee's life will be held at Napavine Assembly of God on Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Join us in celebrating the life she lived and the legacy she leaves.
