Anna Catherina "Catrina" Saling was the eldest child of Johann Pieter "John Pieter" Saling (1710–1755) and Anna Maria Vollmer (1707–1754). (Some records indicate the family surname spelled as 'Salling').

On 18 Sep 1733, Pieter Saling's family arrived in Philadelphia on the brigantine ship 'Pennsylvania Merchant' of London, with wife Maria and their two daughters Catrina and Elizabeth.

About 15 Apr 1751, she married to Henry Fuller in Augusta (now Rockbridge) County of the Colony of Virginia. They had these known offspring:
- Sarah Fuller (1747–1810)
- John Salling Fuller (1751–1803)
- Elizabeth Fuller (1756–1796)
- George Fuller, Sr. (1757–1848)
- Abraham "Abram" Fuller (1763–1836)
