She married John Rodgers on March 3, 1979 in Central Marlow and moved to Chickasha in 1982. She was currently working at Duncan Regional Hospital as a hospital administrator and has worked with the hospital for over 38 years.
Debe was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chickasha.
Debe's greatest love is Jesus Christ, her Savior. With her sweet spirit & love for others she always showed Christ's love. She made everyone she met, even briefly, think they were special to her. She always had a kind word & a gift of making people laugh. She was a champion of forgiveness, inclusion and generosity. She was a loyal friend, loving wife, an amazing mother & grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially at Lake Arbuckle…the party never really started until she got there. Deb herself said, "God has blessed me in countless ways but besides salvation, his gift of my wonderful family and friends is by far my most treasured."
She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Hunter.
