Her husband, John, and her children, Conner and Alison, have always been the highlights of her life. Her favorite and most treasured times were spent with them. They have enjoyed traveling together, their most memorable trips being to Disneyland and Hawaii. They have also enjoyed movies, music, and creating memories in their home. Kristin was a warmhearted, fun-loving, and supportive wife and mother. She was also a caring daughter, sister and aunt. Kristin has been influential in the lives of countless people. She is known for her infectious sense of humor, her warm and genuine smile, and her love of laughter. She was a joy to be around, and those who spent time with her knew they were cared about. She was a friend to everyone.
Kristin is an accomplished author and has written more than 22 novels, six of which have been published. She also wrote a series of children’s books that were illustrated by her son, Conner. They enjoyed this endeavor, as it gave them the opportunity to spend many priceless hours together. Kristin was an entrepreneur and the creative mind behind several successful businesses for which she designed and made the merchandise. Her creative talents were best shared when she and her daughter, Alison, would design and produce projects together.
Kristin is survived by her husband, John; her children, Conner John Damon and Alison Jean Damon; her parents, Sherry and Alan Mecham, and the late Paul Warner; her mother and father-in-law, Patrick and Sonja Damon; her siblings, Jenny (Jeff) Johnson, Paul (Sarah) Warner, Lori (Thad) Nebeker, Kirk Mecham, and Kalli (Kent) Bowers; and many nieces and nephews that she loved and adored. She was preceded in death by her fathe,r Paul; her brother-in-law, Lonnie; and her grandparents, Gene and Melva Prior, and Jarvis and Fernetta Warner.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the LDS church at 452 West 550 South, Spanish Fork, Utah. A viewing will be held Monday, February 15, 2016, at Walker Funeral Home, 187 S. Main Street in Spanish Fork from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and again from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery.
