Leta White Lightning, 42, Cannon Ball, North Dakota, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016, at Sanford Health, Bismarck, North Dakota. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 13, 2016, at St. James Episcopal Church, Cannon Ball, with The Rev. Canon John Floberg officiating. Burial will be in St. James Episcopal Cemetery, Cannon Ball.

Leta White Lightning was born August 17, 1973, in Bismarck, to Donald White Lightning and Janell Loans Arrow. She was raised and educated in Cannon Ball and Solen. Leta worked at Prairie Knights Casino, and numerous other jobs. She always had a smile on her face and was friendly to all people.

She leaves behind four children, Blain Eagle Boy, Noel Brave Bull, Shilo White Eagle, and Jossie White Eagle; one granddaughter, Blair Echo; four sisters, Antoinette (Jerome) Lester, Pamela Brave Bull, Agnes Reddogg, and Roberta Plenty Chief; one brother, Antoine Reddogg; six half-brothers, Delwin, Sheldon, Donald, Kenneth, and Avery White Lightning; one half-sister, Donnell White Lightning; aunts, uncles, Bob and Lois Rainbow, Cheryl and Neil Standish, Delora Smith, Arvella and Corbett McKay, Shannin Loans Arrow, Marjorie Himes, Gina Two Shields, Noreen Two Shields, Beverly Two Shields, Carole Two Bears, Georginna (Earlwin) Yellow Hammer, Gloria (Andy) Owns Pipe, Glenda (late Lyman) Vivier; special uncle Robbie Two Shields and numerous other aunts and uncles; special friend, Dean Mair.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Della Reddogg.
