Eddie W. Fowler of Depew, Oklahoma

Eddie Warren Fowler was born July 7, 1944 to James and Mildred Fowler in Stroud, Oklahoma. He departed this life for his heavenly home on February 10, 2016 at the age of 71 years, 7 months and 3 days.

Eddie Fowler and Phyllis Marlene Cochran were united in marriage May 18, 1967 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. To this union were born four children. He loved his country and enlisted to serve in the United States Army; obtaining the rank of Specialist 4th Class while in Korea. Returning state side in 1969, he and his family put roots down in Ponca City. Eddie worked at Brown and Root as a concrete foreman; retiring after 43 years. Moving to Depew thirteen years ago, Eddie enjoyed life to the fullest. With retirement came the time to do the things he enjoyed such as fish, camp and travel. Most important to him were his family and friends, whom he loved spending time with. Eddie shared a special bond with Eddie and Kathy Hale; the family will always remember the love and care they had for each other.

He is survived by wife, Marlene of the Depew home, four children, Kelly LaDawn McLeod of Stroud, Sheila Marie Pemberton and husband David of Ponca City, Phillip (Buddy) Fowler of Depew and Shane Allen Fowler and wife Jessica of Sapulpa; four grandchildren, Devon (Charlie) Pollard, Isabella (Bella) Guzman, Bryce Fowler and Aurora (Cowser) Fowler; four sisters, Coleen Johnson, Diana Mead, Linda Keeling and Bernita Webb; four brothers, Jimmy Fowler and wife Elaine, Kenny Fowler and wife, Wanda, Lewis (Chud) Fowler and wife, Marilyn, and Chris Fowler; one brother-in-law, Don Cochran, five sisters-in-law, Carolyn Grant and husband Jim, Maxine Gregory and husband, Don, LaRonda Free, Cherry Fowler and Irene Cochran; one uncle Allen and aunt Jean Baker; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Mildred Fowler; one sister, Gloria Jean Watson; one brother, Russell Fowler; father and mother-in-law Frank(Cobb) and Mary (Maw) Cochran; three brothers-in-law, Charles (Buddy) Cochran, Ronnie Cochran and Jim Free; one sister-in-law Reta Cochran; and two nephews, Eddie Don and Ronald Cochran.
