Felix Figueroa, Sr. 80, of Tampa, Fla., entered into rest on February 10, 2016 and joins his beloved wife of 53 years, Helen A. Figueroa. He was born on May 18, 1935 in Caguas, Puerto Rico and proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1958.
Felix worked over 30 years for the U.S. Postal Service in Tampa. Felix enjoyed a lively retirement, working in his home cabinet remodeling business with Papo, and donating much of his time and energy to the German American Club, where he and Helen danced and celebrated on many Saturday nights.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie (Jerry) Perez; son, Felix Figueroa Jr.; grandson, Dr. Bradford (Amy) Perez; grand-daughter, Brittany Perez; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, and Andrew Perez; and many nieces, nephews and in-laws who loved him.
