JOHN LAWRENCE ENSIGN Age 55 of Hobart, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2004. John was a graduate of Hobart High School. He was a member of the Carpenter's Union and the Millwright Local 1043. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Mary Ann and one brother, David. He is survived by 2 sons, Jason Ensign of Tucson, Arizona, John Joseph "J.J." Ensign of Merrillville; 1 brother, Richard (Teresa) Ensign; sister-in-law, Eleanor Ensign; girlfriend, Shawn Jones, all of Hobart; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at 9:15 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home (Hobart), corner of Rt. 51 & 7th St., going to St. Bridget Catholic Church in Hobart for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating. Interment Evergreen Memorial Park in Hobart. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, February 22 from 2 to 8 p.m.
