Spencer were married in Perry Co. on 4 Sept. 1856. They are in the 1860 Federal census for the town of Somerset with their surname spelled "Overmier." William's occupation on the original document was listed as something I couldn't decipher. That 1860 census had William b. about 1832, age 28, and Ellen listed as "Ellenora" age 25. The two children were William J. age 2 and Henrietta age 0. The Ohio death record showed Henrietta Overmyer as unmarried. Her death certificate indicated that she was buried in the "Presbyterian Cemetery."
