CENTENARIAN DIES AT HOME OF SON
Amos Wood, Antrim County's Oldest Resident Passes Away Last Sunday in Milton Township

The only centenarian that Milton township could boast of, passed peacefully away about noon on Sunday July 20th, at the home of his son, William Wood, in South Milton. Grandpa Wood, as he was familiarly called, was much loved and highly respected by all who knew him, and his good christian character and noble examples for all that was good and right, will ever live as a monument to his memory. His faithful companion passed on many years ago and he has made his home with his son, where he has always received the best of care from the hands of his son and daughter-in-law, who were ever mindful of everything to comfort him in his declining years.
