Beverly Ebbighausen died at the age of 67 at the Hospice House after a short battle with Cancer. She was born the 10th of 11 children. She graduated from Lewis & Clark High School in 1966, then attended Fort Wright College. She enjoyed Fishing, Camping, Singing, Painting, and Crafts. She was a Founding Member and Co-Owner of the Elk Sentinel. She was a Chartered Life Member of the Elk VFW Post # 5924 Auxiliary. She was a Volunteer at many Social Organizations.
She was preceded in death by her father Harry Colwell, her Stepfather Bob Matthews, Six Brothers-George Colwell, Jim Colwell, Mike Colwell, Pat Colwell, Dick Colwell, and Denny Colwell. She is survived by: Her husband of 47 years, Bob Ebbighausen, a son Robert Ebbighausen, a daughter Elizabeth Ebbighausen, her mother Marcella (Green) Matthews, Three Grandchildren, Two Brothers-Harry Colwell and Tom Colwell, and Two Sisters-Mary Colwell and Linda Colwell.
