Willa M. Rose nee Oakes
Willa was born in Sedgewick, AB to William and Minnie Oakes. The family moved to Oliver in 1936, and to Penticton a year later. She married Val Rose and they lived in the Grand Forks area until Val's retirement when they moved to the Okanagan.
Willa is survived by her niece, cousins, sister-in-law and special friends. She was predeceased by her husband Val E. Rose, parents William and Minnie Oakes, sisters Lillian Wardell and Evelyn Hopkins and brother-in-law Frank Hopkins.
A private family graveside service and burial was held.
