CORINTH - Pearl E. Holland, 70, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at the Hardin Medical Center in Savannah, Tenn. She was born June 12, 1934, in Brownsville, Tenn., to Rosmond and Birtie Byrd Ballard. She was a retired cashier for Kentucky Fried Chicken and a member of Life in the Word Fellowship Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Corinthian Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Merle Spearman officiating. Burial will be in the Rockhill Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Bennett and husband, Bo, of Corinth and Durlene Rowland of Covington, Tenn.; a brother, Ed Ballard and wife, Vickey, of Saltillo, Tenn.; two sisters, Louise Cox and husband, Robert, of Lexington, Tenn., and Sadie Darco of Ragan, Tenn.; a grandson, Jason Ford of Corinth; three granddaughters, Wanda McKee of Dyersburg, Tenn., Tonya Paris of Ripley, Tenn., and Stephanie Ford of Corinth; two great-granddaughters, one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard Ellis Holland, on Dec. 17, 1996; and her parents.
Pallbearers will be Jason Ford, Bo Bennett, Luke Hulley, Ray Thompson, Glenn Hays, Elbert Holland, Albert Strickland and Eugene Holland.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
