James Roy Lichlyter, Sr., age 92, of Vestavia Hills, Alabama, died Wednesday, December 29, 1999.
Mr. Lichlyter was preceded in death by his wife, Eugenia McKee Lichlyter and he is survived by his: son, James Roy Lichlyter, Jr. and his wife, Mary, of Calhoun, Ga.; grandchildren, Kathrine Malone and her husband, Kevin, J. Roy Lichlyter, III and his wife, Mary, both of Atlanta; great grandchild, Megan Malone.
Mr. Lichlyter was a charter member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church and was retired Vice President of RJR Nabisco. He was a longtime member of the Vestavia Hills Country Club and the Downtown Rotary Club.
Graveside services will be held at 9:30 A.M. on Friday, December 31, 1999, at Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggestsd memorials be sent to the Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church.
