Ken was born on February 3, 1956 in Cedar Rapids and was a lifelong resident of the Cedar Rapids area. He was a 1974 graduate of Jefferson High School and graduated from the Automotive Technology Program at Kirkwood Community College. Ken worked with his father, Harold, at Davidson’s Auto Shop for many years and since his father’s death in 2004, he had owned and operated the business. Ken married Shirley A. Magner on June 11, 2010 at Saint Matthew’s Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. He and his wife were members of Saint John XXIII Catholic Church. Ken was a member of Lodge Hawkeye 423 W.F.L.A. Ken enjoyed gardening, doing yard work around his home and watching NASCAR racing on television. He liked to ride his motorcycle and tinker with mechanical “challenges” at the auto shop.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Emma (Zaspal) Davidson.
