Audie Lee Herndon, age 85, of Rentz, passed away on Monday, February 08, 2016.
Services will be held at 3:00PM on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Baker Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Gay Cemetery. Rev. Joey Diers and Rev. Dwayne Bedingfield will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Herndon was born in Laurens County to the late Harvey and Essie Mae Diers Warren. She was a member of Baker Baptist Church and retired from Bil-Jo, where she worked as a seamstress. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Herndon; son, Jerry Herndon and three grandchildren, Dawson, Kaylyn, and Lance Coleman and several sisters and brothers.
