The family will be having a visitation at 9:30 am on February 13th, 2016, at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am followed by luncheon.
Sherry Jo Campbell Bergquist was born to Russell and Melvina (Martin) Campbell on July 1st, 1943, in Topeka, Kansas. She was later adopted by Joseph and Naime (Eckberg) Bergquist. Sherry was a graduate of Odgen High School and Lutheran Bible Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In 1966, Sherry and Richard Allen were united in marriage at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown, Iowa. They later divorced. Sherry worked as the school crossing guard in LeGrand, as well as Little Caesars, City of Marshalltown and Trinity Lutheran Church in Marshalltown. Later in life, she was a caregiver for her friend. She enjoyed her friends, family and especially her grandchildren. She was also an active reader and crossword enthusiast.
Left to cherish her memory are her children; Sue (Jon) Taylor, Scott (Connie) Allen, grandchildren; Erik Taylor, Brienne Taylor, Candace (Dustin) Aikin, Ashley Allen, siblings; Lyle (Rose) Campbell and DiAnn Mitchell and multiple nieces and nephews.
In death, Sherry rejoins her parents; Russell and Melvina Campbell, Joseph and Naime Bergquist, children; Sheryl J. and Lynn S. Allen, brothers; Leslie Campbell and Ed Campbell, sister; Pat Eygnor.
