Warren Thomas Wright

Warren T. Wright, of Apple Valley, CA, went home to the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ, after battling congestive heart failure. Warren is survived by his children "the 7 J's": John and Helen of Santa Ana, Joy and David Roles of Tucson AZ, Justin and Grace of Menifee, Jason and Renee of Anaheim, Julie and Christopher Reay of Apple Valley, Jerome (Ted) and Cynthia of Anaheim, and Joseph and Kim of Riverside; his 24 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; his sister Carol Scott of Pittsfield, MA, and brother Robert of Pittsfield, MA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Marie; brother Charles of Dalton, MA; a baby brother Ellis; and twin great-grandsons.
Warren was born in Pittsfield, MA to Ellis and Mildred Wright of Pittsfield, MA. He served in the US Army from 1957-1960; stationed in Shemya, Alaska, he was a sharpshooter and earned the medal of good conduct. He received his BS in Education from University of Amherst, MA in 1971, and had a teaching career that was cut short due to chronic fatigue and other medical issues. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 am on February 12, 2016 at Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Church in Apple Valley, CA. Following the memorial, there will be a burial service, including military honors, at Sunset Hills Memorial Park in Apple Valley, CA.
