Captain Matthew Henry Scott enlisted in The No. 2 Draft, Artillery Reinforcements from 5th C.G.A., Canadian Expeditionary Force and was appointed to commissioned rank in the #2 Draft Artillery Reinforcements from 5th C.G.A. on 10 Nov 1915. He served in Canada, England and France and was struck off the strength on 4 Apr 1919 by reason of general demobilization.
