-- GIRARD, July 30.-Mrs. Samuella Acree Duke, 72, well known resident of this city, died at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon at St. John's hospital in Springfield. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the First Christian church in Girard. She is survived by her husband, John Duke; one daughter, Mrs. John Hodges, Girard; four sons, Roy and Guy Duke, Virden; Earl Duke, Wisconsin, and Carl E. Duke, instructor in the Springfield High School.
