Funeral services were held at 2, Tuesday afternoon in the Skidmore Methodist Church for Frederick B. Logan, 84, who died at 3:10 Sunday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lane McGinness, Maryville, following an illness of several months. Rev. Wm. Thompson officiated, assisted by Rev. R.G. Deeds. Burial was in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Skidmore, Mo.

Mr. Logan was born March 13, 1885, at Quitman, Mo., the son of the late Richard and Ada Shrewberry Logan. In 1907 he married Ethyl Booher, who preceded him in death Feb. 24, 1969. A retired farmer, he and his wife lived in Skidmore in recent years. He was a member of the Skidmore United Methodist Church.

Besides his daughter, survivors include two other daughters, mrs. Winifred Christian, Ft. Worth, Tex., and Mrs. Frank Averill, Winston Salem, N.C.; three sons, Wm. Logan, Nash, Tex., Wayne Logan, Burlington Junction; Byron Logan, Kansas City; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
