Stella Minnick Bailey, 90, of Mt. Jackson, died Sunday, January 17, 2016 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Bailey was born October 21, 1925 in Mt. Jackson, daughter of the late Robert William and Edith Marie Ryman Hansberger.
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Mt. Jackson.She was a member of the New Market Eagles and the Mt. Jackson Moose Lodge.S
he is survived by a daughter, Dottie Hamilton and husband Kenny of Strasburg; two sons, Daryle "Billy" Minnick of Stafford, VA and William M. "Mike" Minnick and wife Judy of Locust Grove, VA; seven grandchildren, Donny Hamilton, Daryle Minnick III, Sherri Byrnes, Terri Wood, Carrie Minnick, Robert Minnick and Andrew Minnick; 14 great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Davy Hamilton.
The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Dellinger Funeral Home in Mt. Jackson with Rev. Paul Campbell officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Jackson Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Donny Hamilton, Robbie Minnick, Andrew Minnick, Daryle Minnick III, Anthony Minnick, Joedy Sheets and Brian Hepler.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
