Anne was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, moving to Tucson, AZ at the age of five. She graduated from Tucson High in 1932 and was married 47 years to the love of her life, Ford S. Hicks. They had three children.
Survived by son, Ford E. Hicks (Nadene); daughter, Sandra Swanson (Richard); six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and her sister, Ida Mae Harper Sanford.
She finished Lamson Business College with honors and became the Tucson Water Department Manager's private secretary before retiring in 1977.
To know Anne was to love her. A true treasure to her family. She was so gracious and kind and will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
