Debbie Bateman Foster, daughter of Leon and Ann Bateman, ended her earthly visit Feb. 3, 2016 after a lengthy illness. Debbie grew up in OKC and was a graduate of U.S. Grant, Class of '73. Debbie was preceded in death by her father, Leon, step-mother, Cecilia and special friend, Howard. She is survived by her son, Caleb Foster, granddaughter, Skylar Jo, mother, Ann Bateman, brother, Tracy Bateman (Terri), sister, Carrie Bateman Pope (Robert), nephew, William Bateman, niece, Morgan Bateman, aunt Mitzie, uncle Bill and a host of cousins. Debbie had a special connection with each person she met and was a free spirit ready for some fun. She enjoyed her special times with granddaughter, Skylar, who she called Pumpkin. She is missed each day by all her family and friends. 'God saw her getting tired and a cure was not to be, so He put His arms around her and whispered 'Come to Me.'
A private service was held Feb. 4, 2016. Memorials may be sent to: Integris Hospice, 13920 Quailbrook Dr., OKC, OK 73120.
