Evelyn Lambert
Lambert, Evelyn of Ypsilanti, MI Age 90, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015. She was born January 24, 1925 in Meshoppen, PA, the daughter of Bird and Ruth (Bunnell) Allen. She came to Ypsilanti during World War II. On September 9, 1949, she married James E. Lambert and he preceded her in death September 22, 1987. Evelyn was an Avon lady for over thirty years. She was a longtime member of the Ypsilanti Assembly of God Church. Survivors include: two children, Edward F. (Kimberley) Lambert of Sedona, AZ and Susan (Leon Slota) Lambert of Chicago; grandchildren, Eleanor Slota, Ryan Schwarzrock, Brianne Class and Tracy Bosick; one sister Marion Bowman; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, brother Frank Allen and sister Eleanor Allen Pritchard. Private family services will be held.
