Mrs. Rena Forrester, age 97, of Valley, AL passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at LaFayette Extended Care in LaFayette, AL.
Mrs. Forrester is survived by her two daughters, Hazel I. (Gene) Thibodeaux of St. Martinsville, LA and Barbara P. (Edward) Clark of Waverly, AL; her son in law, Allen Davis of Franklin, GA; ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren; one brother and one sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion J. Forrester; her daughter, Patricia Davis; five sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Forrester was born on January 16, 1919 in Alabama. She worked most of her life in sales. She loved flowers and working in her garden.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at 2:00 PM (EST) at the Johnson Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel in Valley with the Rev. Todd Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow at the Bolton Family Cemetery in Beulah, AL. The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon from 1:00 PM (EST) until the service hour at the funeral home.
